Commuter + Resident Students

Commuter + Resident Students

Parking permits for undergraduate students are available online.

To renew a fall/spring permit, students must go online any time after receiving an email from parking@case.edu.  Renewal is available  until grades are in due in fall according to academic calendar or two days after commencement for spring semester.

Failure to renew by the cutoff date -- usually the end of the semester -- will result in forfeiting the  space. A cancelled permit cannot be renewed and may result in a refund. Students may then get in the system to request a new space.

Permits not renewed will be available to others during the first-come, first-served period. First-come, first-served begin online at 12:01 a.m., June 6 , and in person at 9 a.m. the next business day at Access Services.

If you do not have a parking permit or plan to change parking locations, you may purchase a permit online beginning at 12:01 a.m., June 6 or at 9 a.m. at the Access Services office.  Permits are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. When a lot is full, “SOLD OUT” will appear on the screen.

Students living in a residence hall must purchase an RC permit (examples: 04RC, 05RC, 46RC, 57RC)to be able to park overnight. Those with a 46RC permit must park on the 3rd level and above.

The following lots are available for undergraduate students on a first-come, first-served basis.

Lot NumberLot Location
Lot 5 Surface (residents) bottom of hill by Fribley Commons
Lot 57 Surface (residents) top of the hill
Lot 47 Surface (commuters)
Lot 46 (NRV) Northside garage (commuters and residence)

A student waiting list is available upon request. This list dissolves every May. When your name comes up on the waiting list you receive an email to your CWRU email address. You  then have three business days to respond or the spot will be offered to the next person on the list.

Permit Payment
