How to Renew Your Spring Permit for Fall 2017 Online
Renewal period for FALL SEMESTER 2017 begins May 8, 2017 and ends May 23, 2017.
***You MUST have an active permit at the time of purchasing your renewal.***
Open the following link in Internet Explorer: https://caseparking.t2hosted.com/cmn/auth_ext.aspx
Log in using your Case network ID and password.
Click the button on the right side of the page that says “get permits”.
From there, choose the permit and select the beginning date that best suits your needs.**
Note: The earliest day to begin Fall 2017 permits is July 1, 2017. If you need parking between May 24 - June 30, please come to Access Services to purchase a summer permit.

Note: You must have a valid license plate number in the system to complete your purchase.
Important Dates and Deadlines
FRIDAY, March 31, 2017, 4pm – Deadline to cancel Spring 2017 parking for refund.
This is the last day to cancel your fall semester parking to get a refund for the remaining time. A $15 restocking fee will be deducted from your refund as well as any outstanding violations.
Monday, May 1, 2017 - All student waiting lists are erased.
Monday, May 8, 2017 – Renewal for Fall 2017 permits begin.
Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 11:59pm -- All Spring 2017 permits expire.
Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 4pm– Deadline to renew
All spring semester permits that are not renewed by 4pm on May 23, 2017 will be offered to the next person on the parking waiting list for that particular lot.
Tuesday, June 6, 2017, 12:01am - FIRST COME FIRST SERVE**
At 12:01am on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, all available parking spaces go on sale on a first come first served basis. You do not need to add your name to a waiting list to purchase a parking permit in any lot that is available.
Saturday, July 1, 2017 - The earlest day to begin your Fall 2017 permit (if parking is needed before then, please contact Access Services).
FRIDAY, August 11, 2017, 4pm – New Fall 2017 permits purchased after this date will NOT be mailed.
Any NEW permit (not renewal) purchased after FRIDAY, August 11, 2017 will NOT be mailed. They will only be available for pick up at Access Services by the permit holder only with a valid CWRU ID card.
FRIDAY, September 1, 2017, 4pm – Last day to pick up purchased Fall 2017 permits from Access Services.
Permits that have not been picked up from Access Services by Friday, September 1, 2017 at 4pm will be refunded and offered to the next person on the parking waiting list. There will be a $15 restocking fee removed from the refund as well as any outstanding citations on the permit holder's record.
All permits are sold on a first come, first serve basis.
**Permits are sold on a first come, first serve basis. You must use Internet Explorer to ring out your purchase. You must provide your vehicle information and have paid all outstanding violations prior to purchase.
All student waiting lists dissolve on May 1 of each year. (If you want to continue to be on a waiting list, you must add yourself again on this date or after). Even if you are on a waiting list on June 6, you may still purchase your preferred parking lot online if it is available.
If you fail to renew your Spring permit during the renewal period, you will possibly lose your spot in your current lot.
If you leave your vehicle in a parking lot without a valid permit during summer or winter break, you will be subjected to parking violations.
If you have any unpaid citations on your account, they must be paid prior to renewing or purchasing any parking permit.
You may only renew for the lot where you currently have an active permit.
To complete the online purchase of a permit, you must use Internet Explorer.
Parking During Summer

Student summer parking becomes available on May 11, 2017. If you need to make arrangements before then, please contact Access Services by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 216-368-2273.
Please note that all summer parking purchases must be made upfront and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Confirmation permits are temporary permits that one may print out after the online purchase of a permit. The confirmation permit is to be placed face up on the dashboard of your vehicle to allow temporary access to the parking structure to which your permit dictates. The confirmation permit is for valid for five (5) calendar days only. Once your hang tag is received, the confirmation permit should be discarded and the permanent hang tag placed on the rearview mirror of your vehicle.
**Parking During Winter Break
If your permit expires at the end of Fall semester, you must renew/purchase a Spring Semester permit during the renewal period and choose a beginning date to suit your needs.
If you do not yet want to purchase a Spring permit, you may purchase a temporary permit to cover winter break (to buy a temporary permit, you need to come to Access Services in Crawford Hall, room 18).
To renew your Fall permit for Winter break only:
Bring your current hang tag to Access Services along with your vehicle information. You may then purchase a temporary permit to cover your needs.
If you have a permit that expires at the end of Spring semester, you do not need to do anything. Your Spring permit will be valid over winter break.
