Lost / Replacement ID Cards

Student ID Card

If your card is lost or stolen, you may immediately deactivate it online.

You may contact Access Services by e-mail, by calling 216.368.2273, or in person Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 18 Crawford Hall.

After hours and weekends 

Temporary cards are issued by the Wade and Fribley Area Offices to students who have lost their ID but require access their Residence Hall and/or meal plan. If you have lost, misplaced or had your ID card stolen, visit the Area Office near your residence hall and sign up for a replacement card. You are responsible for any account activity made prior to reporting the loss of your card. By immediately reporting your ID card as lost, your CaseCash, Meal Plan, student privileges, etc., are protected.

Replacement ID Cards

Replacement ID cards may be obtained at Access Services, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for a fee of $25 that may be paid using cash, check, CaseCash, Discover, MasterCard or VISA. Payment MUST be made before the card is produced, and the fee is nonrefundable. Cards replaced due to malfunction or name changes are issued at no charge, provided that the old card is returned at the time of service.

The student being issued the ID is the ONLY one allowed to pick up the card. ID cards are never mailed.

Faculty and Staff ID Card

If your card is lost or stolen, you may immediately deactivate it  online.

After hours and weekends

 if your ID card is lost or stolen, call the Case Western Reserve University Police at 216.368.3333.
You are responsible for any account activity made prior to reporting the loss of your card. By immediately reporting your ID card as lost, your Cavalier Advantage funds, faculty and staff privileges, etc., are protected.
