The Frank N. and Jocelyne K. Linsalata Alumni Center of Case Western Reserve University provides a home away from home for CWRU alumni and the university community. From intimate areas to the 3,500-square-foot Foster-Castele Great Hall, the Linsalata Alumni Center has the capacity to accommodate most events. Built in Georgian style architecture, this state-of-the art facility offers convenient, ground-floor access with rampways, two kitchens and audio/visual technologies to enhance your event. Previous guests consider it a cozy atmosphere for collaboration and a large space for celebration. Please consider this comfortable and unique space as a venue to host your next event.

The Alumni Center doors are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to alumni and students of the university. From sipping coffee by the fireplace to holding meetings in the conference room, the Alumni Center can accommodate your business, social and networking needs. The Alumni Association is looking forward to meeting you and helping you become familiar with your new on-campus home.

Pricing rates are packaged on a 3-hour minimum with an additional 1 hour of setup before the event and 1 hour of cleanup after the event.
Certain setups or layouts may incur an additional fee. Cleanup is the responsibility of the client and caterer (if applicable). Additional custodial services, unusual wear and tear, or damage may incur additional fee.
Case Western Reserve University is closed on the following holidays: Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (and Friday after), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Memorial Day. No rentals may be made on university holidays.
University clients must provide the university account number (speedtype) upon booking with LAC and all remaining rental charges will be journaled within seven days after the final invoice is sent.
All signed contracts must be accompanied with a university account or $100 rental deposit of the rental charge to book an event. The remaining balance is due seven calendar days before the event. University accounts will be charged within five business days of the event completion.
The use of rice, confetti, birdseed, smoke, fog, colored water, candles or other flammables are not allowed.
Banners, signs, decorations. may not be taped, glued, pinned or otherwise affixed to doors, walls, floors or ceilings and/or hung from light fixtures.
Dates cannot be held nor events confirmed until a signed contract and a deposit is received.
- Catering must be provided by an LAC-approved caterer. Events where alcohol is served require security.

The Linsalata Alumni Center, named in honor of Frank (CIT ’63) and Jocelyne Linsalata, was dedicated on February Seventeenth, 2017 upon completion of the Phase II construction project. As part of Phase II, the Foster-Castele Great Hall was built to honor alumni Ted Castele (ADL ‘51, MED ‘57) and Don Foster (ADL ‘50). The original alumni space on campus, consisting of a house that was built in 1910 and purchased by Western Reserve University in 1954, was established in 2007. Today, the house remains as one half of the Linsalata Alumni Center.
