The Case Western Reserve University Alumni House is your home away from home. It is a place to reconnect with classmates, convene a committee meeting, join friends and former professors for coffee or catch up on e-mail.
The Alumni House doors are open business days to the alumni and students of the university. From sipping coffee by the fire to holding meetings in the Conference room the house can accommodate your business, social and networking needs. The Alumni Association is looking forward to meeting you and helping you become familiar with your new campus home.
Rental of The Alumni House
Spaces in the Alumni House may be rented for meetings, receptions and personal social events by alumni, faculty, staff, recognized student organizations and departments of Case Western Reserve University. University Circle partner institutions are also welcome to rent space for a slightly higher fee. Rental charges vary depending on the entity renting the space, the time of day and/or day of the week, the space utilized and any incidental expenses such as the rental of tables and chairs, reconfiguration of furniture or parking.
There are two primary meeting spaces: the second floor conference room, which holds 10 comfortably and is completely equipped with computer and high speed internet connectivity, and the first floor Board Room, which seats 16. This room has a ceiling mounted projection screen and an onsite high end projector is available for PowerPoint presentations. For larger meetings, up to 30 attendees may be accommodated in the larger Living Room by removing the furniture in that room. There is space available in the Alumni House for break-out sessions as well. Meeting rental charges are $35 and up for a four hour time reservation.
Dinner and Social Events
An almost unlimited configuration of spaces can be rented for $50 and up for receptions, lunches, and dinners. The Alumni House has hosted memorial services, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners and wedding ceremonies and receptions. The capacity depends on the type of event, ranging from a maximum of 75 for a formal sit down lunch or dinner to up to 125 for a stand up reception.

Student House Rental Scholarship
Funds to offset the cost of Alumni House rental are available to recognized student organizations through the Dennis and Madeline Block Alumni House Scholarship Fund.
