Driving Directions from CLE to the Village at 115
From Cleveland/Hopkins International Airport, follow the signs (or have the taxi driver follow the signs) to I-71 North, which turns into I-90 East. Take the Chester Ave. exit (exit 173B), and turn right onto Chester (heading away from downtown). Follow Chester for about 3 miles, then turn left onto Euclid Ave; there is a large church on the corner and you will see campus buildings along Euclid as you make the turn. Continue through campus on Euclid, past Mayfield Rd., and then turn left onto East 115th St.. Wade Commons, on the left several blocks from Euclid on East 115th St., is where you check in if you are staying at the Village at 115.
Driving Directions from CLE to the Glidden House
From Cleveland/Hopkins International Airport, follow the signs (or have the taxi driver follow the signs) to I-71 North, which turns into I-90 East. Take the Chester Ave. exit (exit 173B), and turn right onto Chester (heading away from downtown). Follow Chester for about 3 miles, then turn left onto Euclid Ave; there is a large church on the corner and you will see campus buildings along Euclid as you make the turn. Follow Euclid through campus, and turn left from Euclid onto Ford Dr. (this is a major intersection, and on the right side the road is called Mayfield). The Glidden House is on the right, two blocks from the intersection.
Public Transportation
The red line of the Cleveland RTA has a station in the airport. Take the red line from the airport to the station at Euclid/East 120th St. When exiting the station, turn left onto Euclid, heading toward campus. For the Village at 115, turn right onto East 115th; Wade Commons, on the left several blocks from Euclid on East 115th St., is where you check in if you are staying at the Village at 115. For the Glidden house, walk several blocks past East 115th St. to Ford Dr., turn right on Ford, and the Glidden House is two blocks ahead on the right.
For safety reasons, we recommend that you not take RTA to the Euclid/East 120th St. station after dark.
Checking in at the Village at 115
If you arrive during normal business hours (between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Sunday or between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays), there will be someone at the main desk to check you in. If you arrive outside these hours, you will need to call an on-call staff member to check you in. The phone number is (216) 272-4673. If you have a cell-phone, you can call when you arrive or when you're close. If you don't have a cell-phone, you need to call from a pay phone at the airport. There is no pay phone at Wade.
At check-in, you will be provided with your temporary ID card (needed in order to access the buildings in the Village at 115), a parking pass if you have requested one, and the conference folder with local information and the schedule of talks. When you get to your room, there should be linens and towels already there.
Registration
Conference registration will take place on Monday morning on the third floor Rockefeller Hall, near the auditorium where the talks will be. Please recall that the registration fee of $75 is only payable in cash.
