Save a Little, Help a Lot

In rural villages in Nepal, the nearest bank is frequently miles away. Economics assistant professor Silvia Prina's work with two local NGOs has created a unique program that brings the bank to the villages—and assesses how well savings accounts help villagers to manage their money.
