Eaton Aligns Core Value with University Ethics Event

In an annual celebration, Case Western Reserve University presents the Inamori Ethics Prize to an internationally recognized individual who has demonstrated exemplary ethical leadership. In recognition of this outstanding individual, Case Western Reserve and its corporate partners honor the significance of ethical decision-making and pay tribute to those whose actions and influence have greatly improved the condition of humankind.

Alexander Cutler, CEO of the Eaton Corporation, says his organization has supported the yearly celebration because of the importance the company places on ethical values across all levels of the organization. "Nothing is more important to Eaton's overall success as an enterprise than our ethical values," he says. "Our shared regard for the highest standards of honesty and integrity is our biggest strength."

By aligning its name and values with the university's premier ethics event, Eaton, named one of the "World's Most Ethical Companies" by Ethisphere magazine, demonstrated its commitment to high moral standards, while increasing its visibility in the regional and international communities.
