As the Faculty Diversity Officer, Donna Davis Reddix, JD, is charged with advancing the university's goals of creating a more diverse faculty workforce and an inclusive environment for all faculty. She is developing and implement strategies to support the diversity and inclusion goals of the university. She is the facilitator for addressing faculty diversity issues particularly relating to recruitment, retention, employment, the Affirmative Action Plan, and related equal opportunity requirements.

Reddix conducts informal and formal complaint investigations regarding Title IX and allegations of sexual misconduct, and reviews disability accommodation requests for faculty. Her primary duties center around the areas of climate, culture & inclusion, policy & compliance, sexual misconduct, discrimination, equity, and research analysis/benchmarking.

Before joining the OIDEO she was Assistant Dean of Career Development at Case Western Reserve University School of Law where among many other responsibilities she oversaw the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategic plan for maximizing student job opportunities and served as a key participant in employer development by conducting outreach campaigns in local, regional, and national markets.  She also  reviewed resumes and cover letters and participate in career development activities with the bar, judiciary, and professional groups.

Her prior experiences were in career services at Thurgood Marshall School of Law - Texas Southern University and Chapman University School of Law.

Donna Davis-Reddix received her Juris Doctor (JD), Law from Southern University Law Center, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Business Management and Marketing from Dillard University.

She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She is also a member of the Norman S. Minor Bar Association and serves on the CLE Committee.

She volunteers as a 3R's Instructor at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and is the The Law and Leadership Institute Site Administrator. She is a member of the Case Western Reserve University LEAD Advisory Board. In addition she was a member of the Case Western Reserve University Community Standards Hearing Board.
