masters of ceremonies (and other events).

University Programs and Events is responsible for the ceremonies, lectures and symposia that stimulate Case Western Reserve’s rich academic culture.

The office manages the university’s large, public events, including Fall Convocation, Distinguished Lecture Series and Commencement. Other major occasions, such as the president’s investiture and appearances by national/international figures, are also the domain of University Programs and Events.

Consultation and Resources.

Executive Director Eric Dicken and Assistant Director Lauren Biddlecombe comprise the office’s administration and provide expert consultation on organizing programs and events.

Department organizers can also use University Programs and Events resources to plan their events and to find guidance on procuring the services and facilities they need for a great event.
