Each year the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence gathers the community to honor an international exemplar of ethical leadership with the Inamori Ethics Prize.
The 2014 ceremony will honor Denis Mukwege, a deeply committed physician and human rights activist who has worked tirelessly with and for women who have suffered excruciatingly traumatic and violent attacks in the name of war.
This annual ceremony offers audiences the opportunity to learn more about the Inamori Center, meet the director and witness the conferring of the Inamori Ethics Prize to the year’s recipient. Presentation of the prize citation and medal is followed by the Inamori Ethics Prize recipient’s public lecture, which covers the recipient’s work and ethical leadership, as well as the challenges of a global society.
An Academic Symposium, featuring the prize recipient as a member of a panel, precedes the ceremony. Refer to the full event schedule for times and locations.
The 2014 Inamori Ethics Prize will be presented on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Tinkham Veale University Center. See the full event schedule.
