MLK, Jr. Student Symposium Presents: The What You Do Matters Leadership Summit

This year's MLK, Jr. Student Symposium will be collaboratively hosted by Case Western Reserve University and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and purposefully draws parallels to the university's MLK Week Theme: A Call to Action:  Movements, Media, and Mobilization.  The symposium invites students to listen to various speakers and engage in dialogues that will challenge them to think about how we can create environments where hate cannot flourish.  The symposium also includes a visit to the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage in Beachwood, OH to explore the State of Deception: The Power of Nazi Propaganda traveling exhibit produced by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

The Symposium takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, January 18 and 10:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Monday, January 19.  Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply to participate in this symposium experience.  Meals and transportation are FREE, but accepted participants must be able to attend the entire symposium.  Applications are online, and the deadline to apply is Friday, December 5.
