Tickets and Parking

Thank you for your interest in the Think Forum lecture series.

Tickets are free, and seating is general admission. All lectures will take place at the Maltz Performing Arts Center at 1855 Ansel Road. 

You can reserve your tickets by calling the Maltz Performing Arts Center Box Office at 216.368.6062, or clicking on the link below for the event you wish to attend. 


Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. - F. Joseph Callahan Distinguished Lecture - March 23, 2017 

Thank you for your interest in the 2017 F. Joseph Callahan Distinguished Lecture at Case Western Reserve University featuring acclaimed professor, cultural critic, author and filmmaker Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr.

There has been a high level of interest in this free public event and we have reached the capacity of the venue. Because of the overwhelming response to this program, we have arranged live streaming to the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom, where the program may be viewed in its entirety.

Guests without tickets may arrive the night of the event to join a standby line at the Maltz Performing Arts Center or go directly to the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom for possible seating. Standby guests will be admitted based on available seats. Standby admission is not guaranteed.

Shuttle service from campus 

Free shuttle service is offered for all Think Forum lectures. Shuttles depart from the Tinkham Veale University Center Linsalata Entrance (Bellflower Road) beginning at 5:00 p.m. Return shuttles depart from the Maltz Performing Arts Center at the conclusion of the lecture. 


Parking near the venue

Two surface parking lots at the Maltz Performing Arts Center provide easy access to Silver Hall.  Think Forum and F. Joseph Callahan Distinguished Lecture guests can self-park at the special event rate of $5. Pre-paid parking may be purchased via the Think Forum ticketing link.
