The generosity of Case Western Reserve’s donor family empowers our students to think beyond the possible.

In 2021, more than 85% of undergraduates received some type of financial aid or scholarship support. Gifts from alumni and friends help reduce students’ financial burden, allowing them to focus more time and energy on pushing boundaries in their field of study and making an impact on their community.

Faculty mentorship, interactive learning opportunities and interdisciplinary collaboration are core elements of the Case Western Reserve experience. Your support allows the university to provide equitable access to the brightest students, regardless of financial circumstances.

Fuel scholarships

From their undergraduate degrees to postdoctoral studies, your generosity enables students from all backgrounds to reap the benefits of a Case Western Reserve education. Make a difference for today’s Spartans with your gift for student scholarships.

The scholarships I’ve received are a blessing. My CWRU aid has opened a lot of doors I would otherwise not have been able to pass through."

Support the Student Emergency Fund

Case Western Reserve’s Student Emergency Fund was established in 2019 thanks to a generous gift from university trustee Vincent Gaudiani (MED ’73) and his wife, Candace.

The fund, which is entirely separate from scholarship support and financial aid packages, is designed to assist students who encounter unforeseen financial emergencies or events that would otherwise prevent them from continuing their CWRU education.

“There’s no amount of money that’s trivial if you’re struggling financially,” said Vincent Gaudiani, who experienced his own financial difficulties while in college. “We didn’t want students who have talent to have to give up on their education over that.”

Join the alumni, faculty, parents and friends who continue to sustain this vital student resource.

A gift to the Parents and Family Fund is an investment in your student’s Case Western Reserve University experience—beyond the classroom.

From the first time they step on campus through graduation day, your student is part of a community and culture in which they can thrive academically, creatively and socially.

The Parents and Family Fund fuels a variety of resources and opportunities offered through our Division of Student Affairs for your student, including activities and leadership; diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives; civic engagement and learning; physical education and athletics; and more.
