The Center for International Affairs is pleased to report that nearly 300 international students will be graduating in the class of 2014 at the annual commencement ceremonies scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 18th.
If this new class of international graduates follows similar paths as their predecessors, approximately 70% are expected to pursue an advanced course of study and over 20% have secured or are in negotiations for for full-time employment. Additionally, nearly 150 of the graduates have applied for Optional Practical Training - a temporary employment opportunity providing practical experience in a student’s field of study. The international student graduates represent 41 countries and all the schools and colleges at CWRU.
The Center for International Affairs congratulates the entire class of 2014 and invites you to learn more about one of our graduates, Swetha Sahini, and her new adventure with a local company.
