From Sensors to Wearables to Health Monitoring (CA)


This two-day course is taught by two Case Western Reserve University professors, Mehran Mehregany and Enrique Saldivar, and is designed for business, technology, health and wellness professionals.

When to register? As soon as you can.

Tuition? Tuition is $2,000 per participant.

Cancellation? The CWRU Siegal Global Training Program is committed to delivering all classes that are scheduled, however, there are cases when a class is canceled due to minimum enrollment requirements. If a class is cancelled, a 100 percent refund is automatically processed for participants who do not choose to transfer to another available course. Course materials? Lecture slides and other reference material will be distributed on site.

Certification? Participants will be recognized with a "Certificate of Accomplishment" for each day of the course if they attend at least 5 lectures per day.

Lodging? Participants are responsible for their own lodging.

Overview:

This short course is adapted from our Wireless Health and Wearables Master’s and Graduate Certificate offerings. It covers sensors, wearables and wireless health (also known as digital and mobile health). Sensors are a key enabling technology for wearables, while applications of wearables to health and wellness monitoring are one of the most exciting growth areas on the horizon.

Mehran Mehragny

 

Mehran Mehregany is Professor of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Veale Professor of Wireless Health Innovation at Case Western Reserve University and the Director of the Case School of Engineering San Diego.

Enrique Saldivar

 

Enrique Saldivar is the Director of the Wireless Health Program of the Case School of Engineering San Diego and Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western.
