A Big, Bright Future
University welcomes its largest, most diverse, most accomplished class ever
A year ago, The Huffington Post called Case Western Reserve one of the nation’s nine trendiest colleges.
This year the campus learned that the Post is prescient.
The students who arrived this fall set a new standard in every possible measure: grades, test scores, standing in their high school graduating class, geographic range, racial and ethnic diversity— and all by wide margins.
“Case Western Reserve has a proud history of enrolling talented individuals,” says Rick Bischoff, the university’s vice president of enrollment management. “This well-rounded first-year class is a testament to the university, to our neighborhood and to the entire university community, who have helped shaped Case Western Reserve as a home for excellence.”
