How can I get help to pay for it?
If you are a Case Western Reserve University student and receive student loans, you are able to add the cost of the program fee to your student loans.  You should contact the financial aid office, Nancy Issa: nancy.issa@case.edu, about adjusting your loans.  The Department of Bioethics will inform the financial aid office of all students that register for the course and provide them with a cost breakdown.  The maximum amount of the loan you can take will cover all your travel, the program fee, and an additional $500 for additional meals and spending.
If you are a non-Case Western Reserve University student, please request financial aid from your home university.  If your university is unable to award you financial aid, contact the financial aid office at Case Western Reserve University, Nancy Issa: nancy.issa@case.edu to apply for loans.

Additionally, The Department of Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University, offers small scholarships through the James Lovette Scholarship Fund to assist students with their travel.  The application can be found on our web site.  Deadline is early December.
