The NIH Director's Council of Public Representatives (COPR) is a federal advisory committee made up of members of the public who offer advice to the NIH Director on a variety of issues. The COPR is made up of 21 people from across the country. The COPR is made up of a group of people from a variety of backgrounds, including patients, family members, health care professionals, scientists, health and science communicators, and educators.
