Craniopharyngioma - Case 3

A 32 year-old man presented with progressive headaches and trouble with his vision.


Outline the Suprasellar Lesion     Note the Calcification in the Lesion     Note the Hydrocephalus

Craniopharyngioma. Axial CT scans. Note the enlargement of the lateral ventricles, especially the left frontal horn. Also note the large lesion located in the suprasellar region that extends upwards into the region of the third ventricle. The lesion is partially calcified and associated with a large cystic component.
