Meningioma - Frontal Parafalcine - Case 6 - Invasion of the Sagittal Sinus

A 65 year-old woman presented with headaches and mild sensory loss affecting the left side of her body.

Note the Missing Section of the Superior Sagittal Sinus

Meningioma (Parafalcine with Invasion of the Sagittal Sinus). Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV), lateral image. Note the lack of flow in the posterior aspect of the superior sagittal sinus. In this case, the tumor invaded and obstructed the sinus. This markedly increases the complexity and associated morbidity of surgical removal.
