Show the Acute Diffusion Abnormalities

Multiple Brainstem and Cerebellar Infarctions: Diffusion-weighted MRIs. Note the bright signal indicating acute infarctions in numerous areas: bilateral cerebellar, left middle cerebellar peduncle, superior cerebellar, superior pons and midbrain. In addition, one small focus is present in the left occipital lobe which was not well appreciated on the T2-weighted image. MRA demonstrated diffuse intrinsic atherosclerotic disease of both vertebral arteries and the basilar artery.
