Diverse Collaborations

CCIR faculty collaborate with: pharmacology, cancer biology, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering and material engineering, and physicians (including radiologists, surgeons, urologists and oncologists).

Our Mission

The mission of the Case Center for Imaging Research (CCIR) is to advance medicine through imaging science.

Our overarching goal is to build a strong and robust research community that ignites, expands, and strengthens collaborations and translational imaging research.

The CCIR has a rich, collaborative culture that encourages the serendipity of discovery and provides the infrastructure and environment to take a discovery from idea to reality to clinical utility. The CCIR is built on a long history of teamwork between researchers from diverse scientific fields.

Together, the CCIR strives to be a leader in creating innovative and relevant imaging technologies that will transform the future of patient care.
