All students new to CWRU in the spring 2014 semester are required to attend Spring Orientation. Please be sure to confirm your participation on your New Student Checklist.
Orientation will be held on Friday, Jan. 10. This one-day event will give you the opportunity to get connected to the campus and its resources.You will also meet fellow transfer students and international exchange students as well upper-class orientation leaders. Highlights include:

  • Learning about academic resources, getting involved on campus, health and safety services and more
  • Lunch in the Jolly Scholar, a favorite campus eatery
  • Taking a campus tour, checking out the CWRU bookstore, and visiting offices on campus to take care of tasks such as purchasing a parking permit or picking up your student ID
  • A special session for all new international with the Center for International Affairs and the Office of International Student Services

Important Notes:

  • Check-in for orientation will be at 9 a.m. in the Lower Level of the Kelvin Smith Library. A continental breakfast will be served during this time. 
  • Lunch will be provided. 
  • For information regarding transportation to campus from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, click here.
  • Those driving to CWRU may park in the Severance Hall parking garage (lot S-29, 11001 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44106) during orientation. Please bring your parking ticket to check-in to have it validated.
