Winter in University Circle
Thanksgiving is in the rearview mirror, and finals around the corner. We know what that means: It's officially winter in University Circle.
This weekend, CWRU students and people across the city will gather for the neighborhood's favorite way to usher in the cold season.
Holiday CircleFest brings live performances from talented musicians, craft making, historic displays of holiday toys, storytelling, live animals, the city’s best gingerbread house competition and much more in University Circle this weekend. Wade Oval becomes Cleveland’s Central Park with free horse-drawn carriage rides and ice-carving demonstrations. And, of course, there's the ice skating at The Rink at Wade Oval.
More than a dozen of University Circle’s renowned museums, gardens, galleries, churches and schools open their doors free of charge and offer an afternoon of activities, music, food, fun and shopping.
See what's in store for your students as our city gears up to welcome in the winter weather and the holiday season the best way we know how.
