MATHER SPOTLIGHT SERIES ON WOMEN’S SCHOLARSHIP
The Mather Spotlight Series was endowed through the generosity of the Flora Stone Mather Alumnae Association in 1989. The resulting Mather Centennial Endowment Fund allows us to celebrate and learn from women’s scholarship throughout the year. The series highlights the work of women faculty, promotes understanding of women’s accomplishments (and struggles) in the academy, and promotes networking among women faculty and students. The series features lectures by CWRU women faculty and a biennial awards reception honoring outstanding women scholars.
BROWN BAG LUNCH SERIES
Our brown bag lunch time sessions are created, inspired, and led by women at Case Western Reserve University. The sessions are open to all and provide a warm, safe space for dialogue around an issue that pertains to women or gender equity. These sessions allow participants to learn from, connect, and network with people from across the university.
WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH
Women's History Month, celebrated annually in March, is celebration that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.
