First-Year Experience and Family Programs supports the institution's mission of improving students' lives by establishing a foundation that creates experiences to personally, academically, and culturally transition and connect first-year students with the overall institution and community. They do so by creating an environment that intentionally engages students in a way that promotes their personal development and that holistically helps them become ethical leaders, lifelong scholars and active global citizens.
