Research ShowCASE High School Experience

Research ShowCASE High School Experience

Are you a high school student performing research at CWRU?

Did you know that you are eligible to participate in Research ShowCASE?!

High school students who are conducting research at Case Western Reserve University have the opportunity to participate in Research ShowCASE too! We want to see all the great research that is occurring at the university.

As an incentive to participate, CWRU is sponsoring a Research ShowCASE Scholarship which will be awarded to a high school student judged to have the best poster.

The Research ShowCASE Scholarship is:

  • A $20,000 per year undergraduate scholarship
  • Renewable up to four years (provided the student is admitted to CWRU and maintains good academic standing)
  • Open to students from any field of study
  • Open to a student from any year in high school
  • Not transferable to another university

The deadline for abstract submission for Research ShowCASE 2017 is March 26, 2017.  Please limit your abstract to 2000 characters.  Judging for the poster competition will take place between 10 AM - 12 PM on the day of Research ShowCASE.

Contact Gabrielle Meester for questions or additional information.

Update: As of February 20, 2017, the Answer the Call for Research ShowCASE Abstracts  portal is closed. High school students should use the Answer the Call for SOURCE Intersections Abstracts instead.  Please choose "poster" for presentation type, as the oral presentations are restricted to the undergraduate participants.
