Making the Most of the End of the Semester

Date Released: 27 April 2017
At the end of the semester, it can seem as if we should all collapse in a heap and just breathe a sigh of relief that it's almost over. Certainly many of our students feel that way. And for professors, creating a meaningful course ending may not be your top priority. Creating the perfect final exam, grading, handing out course evaluations, finishing up those University committee commitments - there are a lot of competing demands on faculty members' time.

But if we can gather the energy to take a few moments to create a more satisfying ending, and then reflect on our courses - on what went well, what might not have gone as well as we had hoped - we can make substantial improvements on subsequent courses, and save both time and energy in the future.

Join us on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in the Herrick Room, which is on the ground floor of the Allen building (at the corner of Adelbert and Euclid). Pizza lunch and sodas will be provided at this session.

To help us estimate the amount to order, please let us know if you plan to attend this session by sending a message to ucite@case.edu.
