Human Capital Management (HCM) is the online human resources database for student and university employees. Student employees use the system to track work hours, view paychecks and manage direct deposit information. Faculty and staff members must use HCM to enter or verify the number of hours worked, vacation time and sick time. Shortly after their start date, new full-time employees should access HCM to verify their personal, benefits and direct deposit information, as well as update their campus directory data.
PeopleSoft Financials is the database of record for the university’s financial data. Use the system to purchase office and lab supplies, to issue payments and to maintain accurate accounting data. Access to the system is a multiple-step process, which includes completion of the online Financials security form and completion of the appropriate training courses. The CWRU Administrative Professional Series (CAPS) offers these courses and other optional classes in person and online.
