The university’s wireless network is as mobile as you are. Connect to the wireless network named "CaseWireless" from your laptop, smartphone or tablet to enjoy a fast and secure wireless connection anywhere on campus. When you first access CaseWireless, you will be asked to sign-in using your network ID and password, as well as accept one or two certificates that encrypt your connection. This one-time process may be completed manually or automatically using the wireless setup wizard. Campus visitors may connect to "CaseGuest," which does not require authentication.
virtual private network (VPN)
CaseWireless is a secure, encrypted network, but many other wired and wireless networks are not. Use the virtual private network (VPN) when connecting to an unsecured or public wired or wireless network. VPN is required when accessing secure university resources, such as the Software Center and library databases, from off campus. Simply download and install Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client to begin.
