Mailing lists play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of Case Western Reserve; therefore it is critical that the university use a mailing list system that is modern and reliable.
To that end, university mailing lists are undergoing a gradual migration from Sympa Mailing List Manager (Lists@Case) to Google Groups. Groups meets the university’s needs and is integrated with popular CWRU Google Apps such as Gmail, Calendar and Drive.
ITS has developed a self-service migration tool that allows members of the university community to migrate mailing lists to Groups easily. More information about Groups and the migration effort is available at case.edu/utech/google/groups.
Questions regarding this training series can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org. For assistance with Groups at Case Western Reserve, contact the UTech Service Desk at 216.368.HELP (4357) or email@example.com.
