Update your iPhone and iPads to latest version for important security fixes.

Important News: Last week, Apple provided an update to the operating system running on iPhones and iPads, and security experts say it's an update that users shouldn't delay installing.

Many users know to use caution when opening files on their devices, particularly if they are from an unknown sender, but a vulnerability in the way the iPhone handles certain image files means users can become infected by simply viewing a picture. The crafted image file may permit remote code execution and is a threat to the security of the device and your information.

The latest updates -- iOS 9.3.3 on iPhones and iPads, as well as OS X 10.11.16 for computers, tvOS 9.2.2 for Apple TV and watchOS 2.2.2 -- patches a hole that could let a hacker control your device.
