Updates to Software Center and Additional Self-Help Videos Now Available

Software Center Updates

Better video. Better engagement. Better learning. UTech's Software Center has upgraded Echo360 to Version 5.5. Echo360 turns classrooms and events into collaborative communities of learning and success by combining industry-leading videos, engagement and analytics into one unified experience. This software is available to faculty and staff only.

In addition, UTech has upgraded to Endnote X8 on the Software Center- it is more than just a reference manager. EndNote moves users through the research process as they search, organize, write, publish and share information. Endnote is one of the most powerful research and reference manager on the market. Endnote X8 is a perpetual license and is available to all faculty, staff, and students for $99.00. It is compatible with Windows and Mac Operating systems, including the recently released Mac Sierra. Free upgrades to Endnote X8 are not available.

Self-Help Videos

UTech is happy to announce that Media Vision and professionals from the [U]Tech Service Desk have produced several self-help videos for help.case.edu. The videos provide guidance on many technology-focused topics including clearing your web browser cache and cookies, finding your IP address, finding your MAC address and reporting spam or phishing. Please visit help.case.edu to review the videos and please help UTech spread the word that they are available to the entire campus. In addition, if anyone has ideas for future videos, please contact john.landers@case.edu. Your input is valued and appreciated.
