Amazon Web Services Workplaces is a service that provides virtual MS Windows desktops in a location. These virtual desktops are agile, easy to manage, provide uniformity and security and are easy to access.  Replacing the computer lab in the MSASS, CWRU UTech originally planned to pilot the service in 3 classes, for 26 students and debut 30 Workspaces. The pilot started at the start of the Spring semester of this year. After one successful week of operation, the pilot has expanded to a total of 6 classes and 110 Workspaces.
