Network Operations Center (NOC)

The Network Operations Center (NOC) uses several software tools to monitor IT services, applications and infrastructure in use at CWRU. These tools not only ensure services are reachable, but also run synthetic transactions on many services to measure response time to help prevent outages from occurring.

Technicians monitor services 24x7 and interface directly with CWRU engineers when interruptions are detected. In addition, the NOC facilitates some ongoing maintenance in our server environment.
