The network at Case Western Reserve consists of three major types: wired, wireless and telemetry.
The Telemetry Network resides on the wired network through the use of standard faceplates. However, special provisioning and permission is required to use this network. While the wired and wireless networks are the typical data and voice network, telemetry is used for security and environmental management as well as other fixed equipment.
