Assistant Director - Undergraduate Admissions

Assistant Director, Undergraduate Admissions to work in Cleveland, Ohio: Make decisions on the admissibility of candidates who apply for undergraduate admission to the university. Analyze and interpret high school and college transcripts, interpret standardized test scores, assess academic achievement, evaluate quality of essays, interview reports and letters of recommendation. Interpret and explain the university's curriculum and culture to parents and students. Contact individual high schools to schedule visits. Interview prospective students. Support international student community. Assist in training and international orientation. Plan outreach, matching and programs for international community. Collect and process large amounts of data to make decisions. Use of Slate. Requires a Master’s in Education (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as three (3) months in job or job related experience to include support international student community; assist in training and international orientation; plan outreach, matching and programs for international community and collect and process large amounts of data to make decisions. Experience may have been gained before, during or after degree.
