Assistant Professor (tenure-track) - Department of Endodontics

Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine, Department of Endodontics, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time (4 days/week) faculty position, who through their research, teaching and service will be an asset to the department and the university. This is a tenure-track position. 

Responsibilities of the selected individual will include teaching pre-doctoral and postdoctoral students as assigned and approved by the Chair of the Department of Endodontics. Duties may include preclinical and clinical education, lectures, endodontic seminars, literature review, clinical supervision of patient care and supervision of the research activity of the postdoctoral students towards fulfillment of their Master of Science Degree (MSD). Ability to act as a statistician, developing statistical designs, performing interpretation and calculations is highly desirable.

Expectations include good working relations with students, faculty, and staff and have strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and collegiality. Participation is expected in all academic activities, dental school meetings, department meetings, committee meetings and will be responsible for performing other duties and assuming additional responsibilities as assigned by the Chair.

Applicants must have a Certificate in Endodontics from a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited institution. It is highly desirable that they are Board Certified or Educationally Qualified pursuing board certification by the American Board of Endodontics (ABE). Must hold a DDS, DMD or equivalent degree.
