Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio seeks an Engineer 3 responsible for teaching new clients TOF-SIMS and XPS techniques, working with trained academic and industrial users, supporting use of the FEI Quanta 3D Dual Beam FIB, and serving as backup for Auger instrument.
Position requires a Master’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering or related field and 1 year experience in the job offered or in a materials science or engineering position. In lieu of Master’s degree plus 1 year, employer will accept BS plus 5 years of experience. Experience must include using TOF-SIMS, XPS & AES instruments and data processing through Matlab programming.
