Instructor of Acting (non-tenure track) - Department of Theater

The Department of Theater in the College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University is accepting applications for a faculty position at the rank of Instructor in the areas of teaching and service, beginning in the 2020-21 academic year. The position will teach courses in acting and other performance related areas as qualified. The expected teaching load is two and three on the semester system. Other duties include advising; university, college, and departmental service; and participation in the production season depending on qualifications. The main service component will be to function as director of the CWRU/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting program, with academic reporting to the chair of the Department of Theater and with close collaborative interaction with the leadership of Cleveland Play House.

An MFA in a related area or significant equivalent experience, and at least three years of college-level teaching is required.
