The Department of Pathology at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) is recruiting new faculty to expand its vibrant research program. A full-time faculty position at the level of Instructor of Pathology is available for an individual with outstanding research qualifications in the area of immunology, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular and renal diseases or other disease mechanisms. The Pathology Department is ranked in the top 10 for NIH funding and has a robust graduate program with ~50 PhD students. CWRU is located in Cleveland Ohio, a central Midwestern hub for art, culture, and sports that boasts a low cost of living and outstanding schools.
The successful candidate must hold a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD and have competitive research qualifications. The individual chosen for this position will be encouraged to develop an extramurally-funded research program, to collaborate with other members of the Department in research activities, and to participate in academic and service functions of the Department.
