The Department of Psychological Sciences in the College of Arts and Science at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for an Instructor and a Full-time Lecturer to begin in AY 2020-2021. The department offers Ph.D. programs in the Developmental, Cognitive, and Affective Sciences (DCAS) and in Communication Sciences; an APA accredited Ph.D. program in clinical psychology; a CAA accredited master’s program in communication sciences; an MA program in Developmental Psychology/Early Intervention, and undergraduate programs in psychology and communication sciences.
Instructor Position: The Instructor position involves teaching three courses per semester and conducting research. The successful applicant will be experienced in the teaching of General Psychology, Child Psychology, Adolescence, Research Methods, Health Psychology, and the Psychology of Personality. The successful Instructor candidate must have a Ph.D. in psychology with demonstrated excellence in teaching and research. Full-time Lecturer Position: The Full-time Lecturer position involves teaching three courses per semester. Courses designated as high-priority include General Psychology, Quantitative Methods in Psychology, Health Psychology, Child Psychology, Psychology of Personality, and Adult Development and Aging. Other courses in the area of the candidate’s specialty also may be appropriate. The successful Full-time Lecturer candidate must have a Ph.D. in psychology, and have demonstrated excellence in teaching.
