Lecturer (non-tenure track) in Global Legal Studies - School of Law

CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW invites applications for a non-tenure track renewable Lecturer position in our Global Legal Studies Department, beginning July 2022. 

Successful candidates should have at least three (3) years of teaching experience with international graduate legal students, including Legal Research and Writing for LLM students, and/or Scholarly Writing for international doctoral students. Candidates must have a JD from an accredited law school.    

The Lecturer will teach 3-4 courses in global legal studies, which may vary each year, determined by the School’s needs as identified in the prior year. Flexibility is required. Other duties within the LLM program include: teaching and advising students during orientation and our summer program; assisting in recruiting, admissions, and social event planning; developing and administering workshops and other academic support programs; and recommendation letters and alumni support to students and graduates. In addition, like other faculty members, the Lecturer will also be asked to supervise doctoral students and provide service on Law School and university committees.
