Open Rank Faculty Position (Tenure or Non-Tenure Track) - Department of Dermatology

Case Western Reserve University, Department of Dermatology is recruiting new faculty to expand its research portfolio at the rank of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor or Senior Instructor. Tenure and Non-tenure track applicants will be considered.  

Responsibilities and Duties:

We are seeking researchers with demonstrated accomplishments in an area related to cutaneous biology, skin disease, or skin disease comorbidities. A demonstrated multidisciplinary, collaborative orientation is preferred. The candidate may be working in areas such as 1) organ development, function, inflammation, and disease, 2) molecular and metabolomic pathway interactions between host, immune system, and microbes, or 3) translational research with prognostic or therapeutic applications. M.D. Ph.D., M.D. with extensive research training, or Ph.D. required. We are also seeking candidates that are committed to working with a diverse population of faculty, staff and students. 

Candidates at the Senior Instructor level should hold a doctoral degree and have completed at least several post-doctoral or fellowship years. Assistant Professor level candidates should have a demonstrated record of success in multiple venues with substantial potential to obtain external funding. Candidates at the Associate or Full Professor levels should have robust and active research programs and demonstrable national or international reputations, respectively. Associate and Full Professor candidates should also have a history of mentorship and leadership.
