Postdoctoral Position in Breast Cancer Metastasis

JOB SUMMARY
The laboratory of Dr. William P. Schiemann in the Department of Biochemisty at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine has postdoctoal positions available to study breast cancer metastasis and metastatic dormancy. Our research is broad and includes interests in TGFbeta and cell signaling, cellular and metabolic plasticity related to CSCs, EMT programs, and telomere maintenance mechanisms. Additional interests are directed at understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying tumor heterogeneity, as well as interests in the epigenome, particularly chromatin remodeling and alternative splicing events driven by lncRNAs.
Candidates should have a recent Ph.D. or M.D. and a strong background in cell biology, signal transduction, biochemistry, or molecular biology.
