Postdoctoral Position in Structural Biology of Neurodegenerative Diseases
Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA
The laboratory of Dr. Jiri Safar in the Department of Pathology at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (CWRU) has a postdoctoral position available under the National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants to study structural biology of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. The goal of the study is to determine the structural characteristics and key mechanisms causing the formation and accumulation of various misfolded proteins in distinct phenotypes of the age-related disease. For more information visit www.safarlab.org.
Applicants with Ph.D. or M.D. and experience in fluorescence imaging and spectroscopy, Cryo-electron microscopy, biochemistry, or structural biology of amyloid beta and tau proteins should submit a Cover Letter, current CV, and names and contact information for 3 references to: Jiri.Safar@case.edu
