Research Associate Position in the Department of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine
The Department of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine has a Research Associate position available in the areas of social-behavioral and child development studies for a multi-site, longitudinal, NICHD RO1-funded research study with three other academic/research institutions. The project will examine developmental trajectories from birth through 18 months in full-term and pre-term infants and their caregivers using a newly developed caregiver-report tool. Successful candidates will have a PhD, or a master’s degree with significant experience coordinating large, longitudinal, social-behavioral research, in psychology, human development, or a related field. Successful candidates must have excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills and be able to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced work environment.
The responsibilities for this position include overseeing operations of all project activities in coordination with the PI. These responsibilities include, for example, overseeing all IRB activities, overseeing and assisting with data collection, quality control, retention/tracking efforts with participating families, supervising research assistants, coordinating activities with other sites, monitoring budgets and grant reports, and other various activities as specified by the PI of the study. Activities also will include data preparation, data analysis, and data transfer to the study hub and statistical experts.
