The Department of Neurological Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine has a Research Associate position available in the area of glioblastoma Research. Successful candidates will have at least 1 year of postdoctoral experience in general experimental approaches including strong expertise in cell and molecular biology, flow cytometry, and handling of laboratory animals as well as skills in data collection and analysis.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, planning and performing experiments in assigned research projects in collaboration with faculty members and other staff within Case or at other academic institutions. He/she will read relevant literature, perform sample preparation, run the experiments, and perform data analysis. As a RA he/she will prepare manuscripts and contribute preliminary data, background and significance and experimental design for grant proposals. He/she will develop and present in scientific workshops relevant to the proposed research projects.
Education Requirements: PhD or MD.
