Research Associate

An established Oral Health Disparities Group at Case Western Reserve University is looking for a qualified person to fill a Research Associate position. The candidate will be responsible for NIH-funded grants, assist in training of study staff in qualitative and quantitative research methods, development of protocol, training manuals, and manual of procedures. The candidate will also be involved with refinement of interventions and study design, as well as all clinical research activities including scientific report and manuscript writing. The responsibilities of the position also include maintaining collaborative relationships with investigators, centers, community partners, and pediatric primary care offices, other academic and clinical institutions. We seek a highly motivated and dependable individual to expand the mission of oral health disparities research in diverse populations, and pursue scholarly activities. A strong background in the qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and the design and conduct of clinical research is highly desirable. Qualifications should include but are not limited to a strong background in any of these areas: epidemiology, social or behavioral sciences, public health.
